What is Adfly?
Update: Twitter started blocking Adfly links. Your tweets will not post if you are using Adfly links. You can still post them on other social media sites, such as Facebook and LinkedIn. This greatly decreases my rating of Adfly.
Adfly is a URL shortener tool that has a website and an app for both Android and Apple. You may have heard of URL shortener tools but have you heard of one that actually pays you? Well, now you have. That’s right, Adfly pays you for using their service.
How do I make money?
Just like with any other URL shortener, all you have to do is paste the URL and bam, you have a shortened version that still works exactly the same.
Now the good part. When you post these URLs for your friends, family, and followers to see you actually get paid for them clicking the link. How cool is that?
Do you already post URLs?
If you use Twitter, Facebook, or any other social media site chances are you already post URLs for others to see. You may even have a blog, getting your URLs into the hands of thousands of people.
Why not use Adfly to shorten the links before posting them? If you use Twitter there is a very good chance that you already use a URL shortener but aren’t getting paid for it.
How much do I get paid?
This is a very common question when hearing that you can earn money. Luckily I have the answers for you!
In the US the average payment is between 77¢ and $11.64 per 1000 clicks, which depends on factors such as type of ad(banner, pop-up, etc) and device used.
Payments are made by PayPal, Payoneer, and Payza when you reach $10.
In addition to getting paid for shrinking your URLs, Adfly also offers affordable rates on advertising.
I can’t leave a review on this part of Adfly because I have not tried it yet.
My Overall Opinion
Honestly I don’t see why you wouldn’t use Adfly. They make your links take up less characters and look cleaner. On top of that you get paid. I would use it even if I didn’t get paid.
